"In his current exhibition, Ketch Wehr considers the human disjunct from the animal world through an examination of human's lack of familiarity with the hunted. Considering the animals that many non-hunting humans know intimately by taste and skewed appearance but not origin, Prey gives these animals a new visibility. To present the challenge of simply identifying our diet, animals are depicted in intimate detail or removed simplification."
